I made a minor tweak to “Bash’s Pyramid.” I have renamed it “Club PYRAMID” because the best way to explain this evaluation method is to compare it to something relatable to real life.
Imagine the Pyramid is a club (Club PYRAMID is what we will refer to it as.), and inside there are 5 levels (or Tiers):
The top Tier (Tier 1) is the VIP section: 3 prospect capacity
Tier or Level 2 has a 5-prospect capacity
Tier 3 (level 3)= 7 prospect capacity
Tier 4 (level 4) = 9 Prospects
Tier 5 (Level 5) = 11 Prospects
Club PYRAMID maxes out at 35 New England prospects.
Wait, but this is a top-50 list. What happened to the final 15 players?
Those 15 players are on the “Pyramid Bubble.” Essentially they are the prospects waiting in line to get into the Club.
The bouncer of the Club?
Yup, yours truly. As the season goes on, this list will change. I will be evaluating and traveling the region per usual, watching the teams/players. Players will enter the Club, exit the Club, and maybe even a couple more Tiers will be added to extend the list to 100 at the end of winter! Who knows! The overall point is to create a system to evaluate the talent across a region spanning over 6 states. The ’25 class is one of New England’s deepest talent pools, so this Pyramid will likely see a lot of shifting. Let’s look at who represents Club PYRAMID from the sophomore class.
