I am very excited about this commitment and couldn’t be happier for Carlie Marrella, who announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at Brandeis. I have been a fan of hers since the Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase in 2021; she has lit up every gym since then. The lefty slasher can get hot instantly, and I have seen her shift the momentum of games with her explosive scoring. From all three levels, Marrella can successfully put the ball in the hoop; I do not see that changing over the next 4 years.
